NEVERLAND is coming to the North-East for Easter with Peter Pan and his friends hosting two chocolate treasure trails in aid of a hospice.

The Butterwick Hospice Chocolate Walk is back for Easter 2018 with a magical new theme based around J.M. Barrie’s legendary children’s adventure.

This year, there is a choice of dates and venues to ensure as many people as possible can enjoy a perfect family day out.

The first walk takes place in Guisborough Forest between 11am and 4pm on April 3, and that is followed by another in Hamsterley Forest between the same times on April 11.

There will be the chance to meet favourite characters from the book and film – including Peter, Wendy, Tinkerbell and Captain Hook – along with lots of chocolate-fuelled games and challenges to enjoy.

To help get participants into character, there will also be face-painters, music, songs, and guaranteed laughter.

Jo Wallis, Head of Marketing and Fundraising for Butterwick Hospice said: “Fresh air, a family walk through a beautiful forest, magical characters, bags of entertainment, and lots of chocolate ¬– what more could anyone want?”

Tickets for children 18 months and above are £10 to include a gift. Adults don’t receive a gift so tickets have been reduced to £5. Children under 18 months are free but there is no gift.
