CLOSED: Healthy Darlington has said both pools at Darlington's Dolphin Centre have closed for cleaning
SWIMMING pools at Darlington's Dolphin Centre will remain closed until Wednesday.
Both the main and toddler pools at the leisure centre were shut down on Sunday after a child fell ill.
A spokeswoman for Darlington Borough Council said they now aim to reopen all the pools by mid-morning on Wednesday, March 21.
"The Main Pool, Diving Pool and Toddler Pool will remain closed until Tuesday 20th March and aim to reopen on Wednesday 21st March (mid-morning).
"Lessons will continue as normal in the Training Pool during this period.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused, however safety of swimmers is paramount.
