BUS drivers have again been forced to abandon part of their route through Darlington after another vehicle's window was smashed.
And on Sunday, they faced similar problems on the outskirts of the estate when another bus was attacked with services being re-routed.
A spokesman for the bus operator wrote on its social media page: "In the interest of public safety we will not be operating any services along Fenby Avenue due to a bus window being smashed.

"The service 13a will be going down Geneva road then Harris street to Firth Moor and the 13b will serve Harris Street and Geneva Road.
"Sorry for any inconvenience."
On Saturday, The Northern Echo reported that Arriva North East had stopped buses entering the estate following Thursday night's incident.
Broken windows are understood to cost Arriva more than £1,000 each time to replace.
