MUSIC legend Tom Jones is to play Northumberland’s historic Alnwick Castle as part of his tour of the UK’s stately homes and stunning locations.

The concerts will be a celebration of a music career that spans six decades and will see Sir Tom perform headline shows in Greenwich, Suffolk, Berkshire, Hampshire, Northumberland, Warwickshire, and Cambridgeshire.

In August 2015, thousands of Tom Jones fans were left angry after the Welsh singer’s gig at Alnwick Castle was cut short due to technical problems. The 75-year-old left the stage without warning only 45 minutes into his set when it went black leaving the crowds in darkness. An official announcement came 15 minutes later telling everyone there were problems with the power supply. The 2015 concert was organised by Loose Cannon Events.
