SNOWDROPS will be planted in a North-East park in memory of children and babies who have lost their lives.
Bereaved families are once again invited to take part in the annual Snowdrop Walk at Hardwick Park, near Sedgefield, on Sunday, February 25.
The event is organised by Child Bereavement UK, a charity that supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “The Snowdrop Walk is a special day to remember the babies and children who have died and the children who are bereaved each year.
“Hardwick Park is available for you to walk around at your leisure and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Snowdrops are available for purchase on the day and volunteers will be on hand to help with the planting at a dedicated area within the park.”
Refreshments will be available from the Visitor Cafe.
A donation is welcome for the memorial event to be be held from midday until 3pm.
