YOUNG people interested in becoming an author, illustrator, librarian, book seller or publisher are invited to a special event in Stockton Central Library.
Anyone aged 16 to 25 years is encouraged to attend the ‘Careers With Words’ event and learn from a host of professionals who will be sharing their experiences at the event on Tuesday, March 6 between 6pm and 8pm.
The special guests include the author and illustrator, Simon Bartram, author and publisher, Gillie Hatton, bookseller, Mariana Muzinho, illustrator and image maker, Alan Vest and Children and Young Person’s Librarian for Stockton Borough Council, Lucy Carlton-Walker.
The event is free to attend but booking is essential as places are limited.
