AS half-term draws to a close, here's a few ideas of things to do this weekend...

The Selfish Giant, Stockton Arc, on Saturday, 11.30am and 2.30pm

Once upon a time there was the most beautiful garden. A garden where blossom hung from every tree, and the sound of birdsong echoed in every corner. A garden filled with the laughter of children playing, where the gates were always open...

But those days are long since gone. Now there is a high wall around it, built by a monstrous selfish giant, which keeps out all the children, and a sign promises that ‘Trespassers will be prosecuted’. Now people can barely even remember the garden, or the happiness that it once brought to all who played there... until a brave child dares to rediscover what lies within!

Join us as we climb through the cracks in The Selfish Giant’s wall, and find the beauty that lies within the garden, and us all.

Tickets on 01642-525199.
