AN injured man had to be cut free from his car through the roof after his vehicle was involved in a crash.
Firefighters were called to the incident at around 7.40am today on the A165 in Scarborough, near the South Cliff roundabout.
A spokesperson from North Yorkshire fire service said fire crews, police and ambulance staff released the man after the collision by stabilising the car and removing the roof.
The male, in his mid-40s, was taken to hospital with spinal injuries.
