WITNESSES are being sought after three people were injured when a car crashed and flipped onto its roof.
The incident happened at about 4.35pm on Sunday, February 11, when a Vauxhall Corsa was travelling north on Moor Lane, towards Old Eldon, Shildon.
A Durham Constabulary spokesman said the driver appeared to lose control and skid on a bend.
He said: "The car subsequently travelled into the opposite carriageway where it collided into a grass verge, causing it to overturn."
The 20-year-old driver and his 17-year-old rear seat passenger were taken to James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough, while the front seat passenger, a 20-year-old woman, was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital.
They have since received treatment for their injuries and are recovering well.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information should contact Durham Constabulary on 101, quoting incident number 317 of February 11.
