A 21-YEAR-old man has been arrested following a stand-off with police.
The incident took place at around 4.20pm yesterday at a house on Dent Street in Shildon.
Police were called following allegations of a domestic disturbance.
A video later emerged on Facebook page County Durham's Finest, showing a man in the street with officers, one of whom eventually tasered him.
It has been viewed more than 40,000 times.
A spokesman from Durham police said: "A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
"A Taser was used to detain the man who was non-compliant.
"The investigation is currently ongoing."
