POLICE have confirmed that they are taking no further action against three protestors arrested at the Kirby Misperton fracking site.
The trio, aged 27, 34 and 43, were arrested in connection with an allegation of criminal damage to a fence at the hydraulic fracturing site.
They were caught after police acted on reports that a group of people in dark camouflage clothing were seen running through fields near Kirby Misperton on the night of November 26
However, North Yorkshire Police said this week that the suspects will face no further action.
Since September last year, 80 people have been arrested as part of the police operation connected to the Third Energy fracking site at Kirby Misperton.
Of those, 68 have been charged to court, accepted cautions or remain under investigation.
