A MAN charged with two counts of attempted child abduction is due to appear in court.
A 40-year-old man from Scarborough is due to appear at York Magistrates’ Court this morning.
It relates to two separate incidents last Wednesday and Thursday, when he is alleged to have approached girls in his car during the early evening and attempted to abduct them.
Following police enquiries, the man was arrested on Saturday and was remanded in custody after being charged yesterday.
