Two arrested following attempted burglary at village shop
TWO men have been arrested following an attempted burglary at a remote village shop.
The incident took place at The Old Village Shop in Edmundbyers, Weardale on Monday morning at around 6am.
Following a police investigation two men have been arrested and charged with burglary offences.
Both men will appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court on Thursday, February 1.
