JOB seekers are being encouraged to attend special awareness sessions in January to give their employment prospects a New Year boost.
People interested in a career in the care sector are invited to Redcar & Cleveland College on Tuesday, January 16 between 10am and 11am, to find out about both the vital role carers perform and the NVQ level adult social care training course.
Covering first aid, food hygiene and basic care giving, the course also guarantees a job interview with a local care provider to all successful students. To find out more, call 01642-777189.
On the same day, the Youth Employment Initiative is hosting a session at Inspire 2 Learn, on Normanby Road, South Bank, between 1pm and 3pm, for 15 – 29 year olds to get expert advice on job skills, training opportunities, money management and even personal health.
A second Youth Employment Initiative session will be held on Tuesday 23 January, 1 – 3pm, at Redcar & Cleveland College.
