A SPECIALIST autism charity is celebrating after being awarded £350,000 from the People's Postcode Lottery in 2018.
Over the years, Daisy Chain, based in Norton, near Stockton, has received more than £1.5m from players.
Stuart Dexter, Daisy Chain chief executive, said: “This funding is vital to Daisy Chain in supporting our families who depend on us to guide them through some difficult times.
“The demand for our services is constantly growing and this funding allows us to plan how we can grow and develop our services to meet this continually increasing need.
“This generosity and the loyalty from players of People’s Postcode Lottery is vital to us as a local charity and we are truly grateful for the ongoing support."
