IMAGES of a vehicle believed to be involved in a burglary at Saltburn Golf Club, during which a large quantity of golfing equipment was stolen, have been released by Cleveland Police.

The incident happened at the Golf Club on Guisborough Road, at around 10pm on Monday, January 8.

A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: "Four suspects, all wearing dark clothing, approached the premises in a black 4x4 vehicle before gaining entry to the golf shop at the front of the club.

"The suspects then made off in the vehicle in the direction of the ‘four lane ends’ crossroads near to the A174."
