BLIND Veterans UK is challenging residents to sign up to a mammoth walk to to raise money for visually impaired ex-service men and women.
Walkers have just 24-hours to complete the 100km route across the Yorkshire Dales, starting and finishing at Darley Memorial Hall in Nidderdale.
Registration is now open with a fee of £40 for individual and team entrants, and £90 for relay teams.
There is a minimum sponsorship pledge and the entrance fee includes lunch, dinner and breakfast at numerous rest stops, snacks and refreshments along the route and a free event t-shirt.
Sophie Hill, of Blind Veterans UK, said: “Competing in the 100k Yorkshire is like nothing else.”
The walk is on June 23, register at blindveterans.org.uk/100k
