A VULNERABLE man has reported that his wheelchair has been stolen after briefly leaving it unattended.
The wheelchair was stolen from outside a house in Carisbrooke Avenue, in Thorntree, Middlesbrough, shortly after 9.30am on Thursday, December 14.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “The owner relies on the wheelchair, which is self-propelling with large rear wheels, to get around – not having it means his day to day activities have been affected and he is angry and upset at this.”
Anyone with information on the theft or the whereabouts of the wheelchair can contact Cleveland Police’s PC Heather Coates via non-emergency 101.
