THREE people have been arrested after drugs were recovered during police raids in Stockton.
Cleveland Police carried out four search warrants in the Parkfield, Fairfield and Hardwick areas of Durham, acting on intelligence.
Suspected class A drugs were also recovered from a property on Durham Lane, and a 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of class A drug possession. He remains in custody.
A 19-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possessing class B drugs, with intent to supply, in connection with a raid in Timothy Court, Parkfield.
Sergeant Mark Doherty from the Stockton Integrated Neighbourhood Team said: “Today’s drugs warrants have resulted in the recovery of suspected class A and class B drugs which could have been distributed onto the streets of Stockton.
“If anyone has concerns regarding drugs activity in their community, please call Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101. We would always urge the public to come forward with their information as we always act on intelligence.”
