STOLEN: Drunken woman arrested after stealing mobility scooter in Hartlepool
A DRUNK woman was arrested after a low-speed chase through the snow and ice - on a stolen mobility scooter.
Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police Team recovered the stolen black mobility scooter that was being driven in a reckless manner through the town by a woman who was under the influence of alcohol.
A Cleveland Police spokesman said: "The female was later arrested and the scooter will be returned to its rightful owner."
