SANTA’s sleigh is back in Durham this weekend for its annual tour of the city.
The event is held by the Rotary Club of Durham to raise money for local charities.
The sleigh, which has been repaired for the season by Fred Henderson’s garage in Langley Moor, will be flying into Poplar Tree Garden Centre, in Shincliffe, on Saturday and Sunday.
Other events take place outside B&M Bargains, in Durham City Retail Park, Gilesgate, on Friday, December 8, and Wednesday 20, outside Marks and Spencer at the Arnison Centre, in Pity Me on Saturday 9 and Friday 15, outside the Iceland store at Dragonville Industrial Estate on Sunday 10 and Sunday 17, outside Sainsbury’s at the Arnison Centre on Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 and in Durham Market Place on Saturday 16.
All events take place between 10am and 4pm.
