A TEESDALE theatre group are set to give audiences a festive treat with their Christmas productions of A Christmas Carol and Oliver Twist.
The Castle Players, in Barnard Castle, are celebrating Charles Dickens with their mini-festival and will be performing A Christmas Carol at The Witham on Saturday, December 16, at 3pm and 7.30pm.
Live music will be provided by The Dalesiders.
Meanwhile, the Players will also be performing Oliver Twist as part of their winter tour of village halls and community centres.
Opening at the Witham on Saturday, January 6, at 7.30pm, it will tour until Sunday, February 4.
With their focus on children, the productions also introduce two young performers new to the Castle Players.
Jack Nelson takes on the role of Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol and Ben Blackie the title role in Oliver Twist.
