SCHOOLS are coming together for an annual Christmas concert at one of the region’s finest music venues.

Park View School, in Chester-le-Street, are to kick off the festivities by performing for the third year running on Monday, December 11, at The Sage, Gateshead.

Music students in year seven to year 13 from Park View School will be performing alongside pupils from Pelton Primary, Beamish Primary, Red Rose Primary, Woodlea Primary, Cestria Primary, Chester-le-street C of E Primary and supported by Ponteland Community High School.

The 400 students will be performing a wide variety of genres including traditional Christmas carols, classical works and contemporary numbers.

“Each year I am blown away by the outstanding talent our children and young people have. It is an evening truly not to be missed.”
