PLANS to demolish derelict farm buildings and replace them with five new homes on a Teesdale estate have been submitted to Durham County Council.
Sir Edward Milbank, of Barningham and Holgate Estate, at Barningham Park, Barningham, is proposing to build two three-bedroom and three four-bedroom houses on land known as Glebe Farm.
In a statement supporting the application, Sir Milbank, said the current barns have previously been used for storing farm machinery but are not currently used and in a state of disrepair, being too dangerous to use.
Ten car parking spaces, two for each property, would also be available as well as two disabled spaces and four for bicycles.
