A CRITICALLY acclaimed artist will be making a special appearance at a North-East gallery to present his much-anticipated autumn collection.
Local art fans will have the opportunity to meet painter, Craig Davison, at Castle Fine Art on Grey Street, Newcastle, on Saturday, between 1pm and 3pm.
He will be discussing his new body of work, inspired by the hit TV cartoon series, Scooby-Doo, as well as his inspirations and past collections. An exhibition of the works will then run for a further week.
Mr Davison’s work is inspired by the innocence of childhood, and aims to take the viewer back to a “simpler time”. His oil paintings show children acting out make-believe adventures, whilst their shadows are transformed into the outline of the characters from Scooby-Doo.
