TEESDALE Action Partnership's (TAP) annual forum will be held on November 22.

The event, entitled For Young, For Old, For Jobs and Business, will give residents the chance to comment on issues relating to older people; children, young people and families and employment, enterprise and training.

In previous years residents have voted for different priority categories but last year's priorities of Older People, Employment, Enterprise and Training and Children, Young People and Families will remain for a second year.

The forum will be held at the Upper Teesdale Agricultural Support Services office, in Middleton-in-Teesdale, and starts at 4.30pm ahead of TAP's board meeting at 6pm.

Residents can also comment on Durham County Council’s annual budget. TAP's chairwoman, Ros Evans said: “We want to know what local people really think.

"Teesdale is a big area with a lot going on and TAP needs to know where its time and money can be best spent.

"TAP has an annual budget of £100,000 that can support local projects. This money can make a big difference but we need to make sure it’s going to where the greatest need is.

"By coming along to the forum people can have their say which will help TAP to make the right decisions in the future”.

Mrs Evans added: “TAP can make a real difference in communities but it is important we know what communities want so I’d encourage anyone with an interest locally to come along and have their say."
