HEAR ALL SIDES: Letters to the Editor
SOME time ago we started collecting used postage stamps to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK.
We are pleased to say that the efforts of people in the region have raised over £300 for the campaign in the last 18 months.
Muscular Dystrophy is a condition affecting both children and adults and research continues for a cure and new treatments.
Our fundraising campaign continues and we ask for anyone who would like to contribute any spare used stamps (however few) to send them to Mark and Allison Hayhurst, 77 Ewanrigg Road, Maryport, Cumbria, CA15 8LB. Please leave stamps on paper with perforations intact.
