A CHURCH service in Bishop Auckland will give the bereaved the chance to remember their loved ones.
St Anne’s Church, in the Market Place, will host the All Souls Day service at 7pm on Thursday, November 2.
Anyone who has lost someone is invited to have their name read out and light a candle in celebration of their life.
An organiser said: “The annual All Souls Day service has in recent years proved a wonderful occasion by which people can reflect on and celebrate the lives of relatives and friends they have lost and meet other people with similar experiences afterwards over a cup of tea or coffee. Everyone is warmly welcome.”
Usually held at St Andrew’s Church, South Church, the service will take place in the town centre while a new central heating system is installed.
