ACADEMY: Open evening for talented players wanting to sign up to Martin Gray Football Academy
NEXT year’s school leavers are invited to attend an opening tomorrow night at Darlington College for the Martin Gray Football Academy.
The courses available are a Diploma in Sports Level 2 (with football and women’s football), and an Extended Diploma in Sports Level 3 (with football, women’s football and rugby).
The MGFA coaches come from a football background with many being ex-professional Premier League footballers themselves, while until recently Gray was Darlington’s manager five years.
He is now in charge at York City and has a wealth of experience in coaching, managing and playing football and holds the highest accreditation of coaching; the UEFA Pro Licence.
- The event runs from 5.30pm to 7pm on Wednesday, October 18.
