A 'SAFE trick-or-treat' event comes to the Cornmill Centre on Friday, October 27.

Families can enjoy trick-or-treating while following a map along spooky treasure trails, with different activities on offer.

Little witches and wizards will be able to collect goodies from different shops around the Darlington shopping centre.

The centre will allso be putting on gruesome games and workshops for children, and the chance to get a 'magic makeover' with glitter tattoos.

Susan Young, centre manager at Cornmill Shopping Centre, said: “We’re getting into the spooky spirit this Halloween and are really excited to see everyone dressed up in the centre.

"The safe trick-or-treating event is ideal for parents looking for some scary but safe fun for their little monsters.”

The Cornmill’s trick-or-treat event is free as part of the centre’s Kids Club loyalty scheme which launched earlier this summer and aims to improve the shopping experience for families.
