SCENE: The fatal collision occured on Hadrian Road in Wallsend
A MAN who died in a fatal car crash at the weekend has been identified as 33-year-old Martin Dixon.
The North Tyneside man was killed following an incident on Hadrian Road, in Wallsend, on Friday evening, just before 8.15pm.
Northumbria Police Motor Patrols officers are appealing for witnesses following the collision between the Vauxhall Vectra and the Audi.
A second man involved remains in a critical condition in hospital.
A spokesman for the force said: “Enquiries into the collision are ongoing and officers would encourage anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.”
