A DRIVER has been arrested following a police chase through a County Durham village.
The pursuit saw officers pursue a car through Coundon, near Bishop Auckland, at about 5.30pm.
A police spokesman said: "There's been a pursuit and one person has been arrested and the vehicle has been recovered."
The spokesman was unable to confirm any further details but it is understood no one was injured during the incident.
