A WARRANT has been issued after a woman accused of theft and burglary failed to attend court.
Kirsty Marie Rank, of Mount Pleasant View, Spennymoor, had been due at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court yesterday.
She is charged with the theft of a gold colour bracelet belonging to a 68-year-old from a property in Ferryhill on September 7, breaching a restraining order on the same date and the theft of a bus pass belonging to a 45-year-old man on September 1.
The 26-year-old failed to attend the hearing and a warrant was issued for her to attend a police station.
Miss Rank has conditional bail, ordering her not to enter Davy Street, in Ferryhill, or contact the owner of the gold coloured bracelet.
A date for a new hearing has not been set.
