EMPLOYERS from the region will be attending a job fair aimed at helping people back into work.
The free event is being hosted by Finchale, a charity based in Pity Me, Durham, on Wednesday, November 1 between 10am and 2pm.
There will be more than 20 stands, with representatives from a range of sectors including hospitality, care, retail, construction and manufacturing.
Finchale chief executive Mel Pears said: “Finchale brings together employment and skills services which offer assistance and guidance to the unemployed people as well as those with health conditions or disabilities of all ages looking for work and training in County Durham.
“It’s great to have backing from local businesses as well as larger organisations who are dedicated to investing in our community by hiring local people. We encourage those who may be unsure of their options or at a crossroads in their career to attend. There is a team of people waiting to help you.”
