POLICE searching for a missing man say he has been found safe and well.
John Everatt, 70, had last been seen at around noon on North Road in Durham yesterday
A seach of the River Wear took place as emergency services looked for the man with dementia.
Northumbria Police have now reported that Mt Everatt has been located safe and is back with his family.
