FULLY-funded courses for unemployed young people will now be offered following a partnership between a community hub and education specialists.
The Forum Music Centre, off Borough Road, Darlington, will now host a range of skill-based workshops to educate and train residents into works.
The partnership between the Forum and the Learning Curve Group means the venue will offer courses in customer services, health and social care and business administration, as well as specialist course covering dementia care, mental health awareness and understanding autism.
The Learning Curve Group provides services that support apprenticeships, diplomas, literacy and numeracy qualifications.
The Group’s engagement support officer, Nusrat Razzaq, said: “The Learning Curve Group deliver various courses for unemployed individuals aged 19 and above.
“Our aim is to transform lives and we’re looking forward to working with The Forum Music Centre as a new venue for learning in Darlington.”
