AN eclectic exhibition of paintings and sculptures will go on display in a market town next weekend.
The eight annual Art Show at the St Cuthbert’s Centre in Church Hill, Crook, will feature 100 exhibits, including a sculpture display commissioned by Jack Drum Arts.
The majority of the artwork on show will be available to buy.
Organiser Vanessa Kelly, a primary school teacher and artist, said the variety of work submitted each year never failed to impress her.
“You can see the artists changing their style and developing – the creativity and skill is inspiring,” she added
A preview night takes place on Friday, September 22, from 7pm. Admission is £3.
The exhibition will then open from 11am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Entry is free and tea, coffee and cakes will be available.
