A SINGER-SONGWRITER and acoustic guitarist is set to perform at a community arts centre this weekend.
Adrian Nation will be playing his guitar at The Witham, in Barnard Castle, on Saturday, September 16.
Special guest performers are Teesdale musicians Andy Yeadon and Moray Nellis.
Mr Nation has been described as a "mould of Richard Thompson, Mark Knopfler, Isaac Guillory, and Bruce Cockburn" while "his scintillating finger-picking is up there with the best, and his well-crafted songs stretch from melancholy to invigorating".
Mr Nation has gigged around the UK for more than ten years, performing to audiences at festivals such as Cambridge Folk and Rock festivals, and in more intimate bars, clubs, and music venues.
He has two albums under his belt, Sowing Seeds and Fall Or Fly.
Tickets for the live concert cost £12 in advance or £15.
The concert will begin at 7.30pm.
