TWO masked men attempted to rob a convenience store yesterday.
Police have confirmed the the men concealed their faces before entering the Late Shopper store, in Woodhouse Estate, Bishop Auckland, at about 6.25am.
A police spokesman said the men demanded money but made off empty handed.
They were last seen heading in the direction of Farm Close.
An investigation is now underway and any witnesses or anyone with information should call 101 and ask for Bishop CID, quoting incident number DHM-11092017-0035.
