THE stance of Jacob Rees-Mogg (HAS, Sept 7) is certainly not out of touch. Nor is it extreme.

The general opinion of ordinary people (of which there are a lot of us) would not agree with abortion.

Being pro-choice is something which is pushed down our necks, whether we like it or not.

It is the British Pregnancy Advisory Service that is extreme, putting its own views as if they were sacrosanct. The BPAS is wildly at odds at what the majority of people really want.

I am so glad that a man of good moral views is emerging from the Conservative party. Alas he will most certainly be vilified, but I for one applaud Jacob Rees-Mogg.

LOOKING BACK

JACOB REES-MOGG would make a perfect Prime Minister for 1817.

As for 2017, sorry but the world has moved on from servitude and the workhouse, although many in the Tory party would gladly take us back to them “glory” days.
