LOCOMOTIVE enthusiasts can experience driving the engines they love at a heritage railway line this month.
Weardale Railway's popular Driver for a Fiver event returns to Stanhope Station on Monday, August 28.
Visitors will be able to drive a Sentinel Shunter under supervision along the number two platform for £5.
Driving sessions take place from 10.40am to 11.55am, 12.15pm to 12.50pm, 1.10pm to 2.25pm, and 3.10pm to 4.20pm.
