A SPECIAL roadshow designed to help those over 50 enjoy "good food in good company" is coming to Ferryhill next month.
Age UK County Durham’s Come Eat Together project will take place at Dean Bank and Ferryhill Literary Institute, in Ferryhill, on Monday, September 4, from 10am until 2pm.
The roadshow will help people with everything from online shopping to stylish lunch clubs with a difference.
Andrea Goldie, development worker for the organisation, said: “We are delighted to be coming to Ferryhill.
"We are inviting people to meet members of our Come Eat Together team and have a taster of activities we are offering.
"There will be a chance to tell us what activities you might like the project to deliver in Ferryhill.”
"Activities include tasting, growing, dining and shopping together."
