A ROLLER skating club’s winning streak shows no sign of coming to an end after it scooped ten medals at a major event.
Spectrum Roller Skating Club travelled all the way to Cardiff in Wales for the national three-day contest last weekend.
The team of 12 skaters, some as young as seven, enjoyed great success, and came away with two gold medals, three silver medals and five bronze medals.”
Coach Tracy Stevens said: “I am overwhelmed by the skaters’ performances and the amount of positive remarks I have received about the club from other skaters, coaches and clubs from around the country. I am very proud to be coach of these skaters who give their best all of the time.”
The club trains at Shildon, Sunnydale Leisure Centre and Spectrum Leisure, Willington. To find out more contact Ms Stevens on 07891-461958.
