A MOTORIST has had a lucky escape after a car rolled onto its roof following a collision today.
Members of the Cleveland and Durham Roads Policing Unit were called to the incident in the Seal Sands area, between Billingham and Stockton.
Motorists are being warned to expect delays while the vehicle is recovered from the scene.
A force spokesperson sad: "For those travelling around Seal Sands please be aware of minor travel delays due to the recovery of a vehicle following a collision.
Thankfully no one was seriously hurt, which is a testament to modern car design.
"Remember to check, check and triple check at junctions, making sure you have suitable time to safely join the carriageway as not to impede any traffic."
