BEER and busking will be combined for a special fundraiser at The Witham, in Barnard Castle, on August 26.
The community arts centre will be holding the beer and busk from noon until 4pm with musicians performing in the Cafe Bar in a bid to raise funds for the venue.
Musicians will include youth folk ensemble, Cream Tees, open mic specialist Malcolm Elsbury and authentic trad-folk trio, Over the Yardarm.
Danny McColl, owner and brewer at McColl’s Brewery, will also bring along several beers for sampling and tasting and a raffle means there is a chance to win a package of McColl's beers as well as tickets for folk gigs Lady Maisery and Blazin’ Fiddles.
