A MAN who was suspected to be drunk while in charge of a horse and cart is to appear in court.
The 49-year-old was arrested after he was spotted in a cart harnessed up to a horse in Low Street, South Milford, North Yorkshire on July 30.
He will appear at York Magistrates Court on August 18.
The man, of Sherburn-in-Elmet, near Selby, is charged with being during drunk while in charge of a horse, which is contrary to section 12 of the Licensing Act 1872.
