A PRIMARY school has won a national award.
South Stanley Infant and Nursery School received the Investing in Children Award in recognition for the hard work they do to promote the views, and respect the human rights, of the children within their care.
Initiatives from schools and organisations across the UK must demonstrate dialogue with young people that leads to change.
Children and young people are required to provide evidence for the organisation and endorse the membership report because it is a children’s and young people’s award.
Headteacher Heather Kemp said: “To have the hard work of both the children and staff recognised is brilliant.”
