TELEVISION presented Michaela Strachan has visited a popular North-East attraction to opens its new 40-ft slide.
The Spring Watch presenter was in Durham at Brasside’s Adventure Valley to open the attraction’s new dragon slide.
The slide, which is 40ft high, marks a £45,000 investment in the business.
As well as opening the slide, Ms Strachan was also signing copies of her book Really Wild Adventures and performed two interactive shows with visitors.
Adventure Valley owner Janine Calzini said: “Having visited several times before, we are delighted to welcome Michaela back to Adventure Valley.”
The park has also recently opened a new play area for children under the age of five, a dragon swing and a swan carousel ride.
Owners say the new slide is the first of its kind in the UK and is aimed at children under the age of ten.
