AN elderly woman has been taken to hospital after a four-vehicle accident on the A19 this lunchtime.
The incident happened on the A19 southbound between A179 / B1280 Elwick and A689 Wolviston at around 12.30pm.
Four vehicles were involved in the collision - a blue Vauxhall Mokka, a white Nissan Qashqai, a black BMW X3 and a silver panel van.
Cleveland Police have confirmed an 'elderly' woman has been taken to hospital with chest pains, and the road is now clear.
