A DECADE of dedication is being celebrated by one nurse who has devoted her life to caring for others.
Rose Griffiths has received a pin badge and £250 gift voucher after first joining the North Park Care Home team in July 2007.
Ms Griffiths registered as a nurse in 1976 and began her career in Lincoln, east Midlands, before moving north to nurse in Darlington Memorial Hospital.
She returned to nursing following the births of her children and worked in the town's Springfield Care Home, Darlington Manor Residential Home and Trees Park Village, before joining the I'Anson Street home.
Mark Culley, North Park's general manager, said: "At North Park, she has been a fantastic leader and senior member of the team.
"Rose has supported, advised and helped other staff develop over the last ten years and most importantly, shown excellent levels of care, support and compassion to our residents, families and professionals."
